Broken iPhones replaced for free!

If you smash an iPhone Apple'll replace it for free, apparently.

Looks like Apple's eager to avoid a PR fiasco with the iPhone, so much so that it's replacing handsets, even if they were smashed by clumsy owners!

One unfortunate iPhone owner accidentally smashed their new toy on the edge of a table, only for Apple to swap it for a new one at their store. Check out the broken phone here .

That's some warranty - or more likely Apple's employees are under instructions not to kick up a fuss over the phone's durability. The last thing they'll want is a replay of the infamous nano-gate.

Not got an iPhone yet? Don't worry, there're reportedly plenty in stock all over the US, and if you're in the UK it might actually be cheaper to take a short break in the States than grab one from eBay!
