BlackBerry handset snapped ahead of official announcement
BlackBerry Touch 9860 photos leak ahead of unveiling
The main omission from RIM’s BlackBerry World unveilings, the repeatedly leaked BlackBerry Touch 9860 has appeared in the wild once again with close up spy shots of the device hitting the internet.
Having leaked a number of times earlier in the year, BlackBerry’s mooted Touch 9860 is a reported follow up to the Storm devices said to boast a 1.2GHz processor, 3.7-inch 800 x 400p display and 768MB of RAM.
Whilst the latest leaked image fails to give a full overview of the Touch 9860’s full form factor, the emerging snap offers a tantalising look at the handset’s new physical buttons found on the device’s fore that are a move away from the usual touch options.
Another notable insight made apparent by the latest leaks is the omission of the green and red hued End and Send buttons with the 9860, a device expected to land with BlackBerry OS 7, instead seemingly opting for a monochrome interface.
Will we see the BlackBerry Touch 9860 made official before the end of the month or could we be in for a hefty wait interspersed by numerous leaks? Share your thoughts via the T3 Twitter and Facebook feeds.
