BlackBerry Pearl 3G hits Vodafone

QWERTY-free BlackBerry hits Vodafone with bargain deal

Unique RIM emailer lands alongside slew of other new phones.

The BlackBerry Pearl 3G is up for grabs now at Vodafone. Rocking a standard T9 keyboard rather than the classic QWERTY panel favoured by almost all of RIM’s email warhorses, it packs in HSDPA as well being cheaper than a night down your local Wetherspoons.

Stump up £25 a month over two years and you won’t need to front up for the phone. For that price you get 300 minutes and 500MB of date to chow down on.

As well as RIM’s latest effort, Vodafone has also confirmed it’s flogging the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro and the LG Optimus, both of which cram in Google Android.
