BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 may land in August?

The new BlackBerry may just be incoming sooner

Will it, or won't it?

It's possible we may see the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 earlier than we expect.

The official date for the release of the new BlackBerry is September 15, 2011, but an online retailer is showing a date in August for its release.

Play.com has posted a SIM-free handset on its website, showing a release date of August 12, 2011 as opposed to the earlier announced date.

The BlackBerry Bold 9900 comes in black and white, with the black one officially launching in September by 3 UK, and the white one a month later. O2 and Vodafone plan to stock the phone as well.

The device runs on the new BlackBerry 7 OS, has 768MB of RAM, 8GB storage, a 5mp camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, as well as NFC tech.

It also has its physical QWERTY keyboard along with a touch-screen one.
