The clip, which has now been removed from the video sharing site Vimeo, showed what appears to be two BlackBerry devices, one with full touchscreen, the other, with a large screen and full qwerty keyboard.
The BlackBerry-dedicated site Crackberry.com captured images before the clip was erased. T3 approached BlackBerry for confirmation but the firm refuses to comment on speculation.
The leak comes as RIM’s shares climbed after its profits were higher than Wall Street’s forecasts.
"It's still bad, but it's a much smaller disaster than expected," said Sterne Agee analyst Shaw Wu. "These stocks all trade on expectations. Expectations were really low, and they were able to beat that."
