Bing London Journey Planner revealed

Integrated bus, tube and walking routes hit Microsoft maps

Save, share and check out routes around the nation's capital.

Microsoft has officially released its new Bing London Journey Planner, letting users plot trips across the capital by collating bus, tube and walking information in a single search.

Either type out where you want to go to and from, or right click on the map to enter start and finish points, and the Bing London Journey Planner will serve up the fastest way to get from A to B. As well as highlighting walking routes, it'll tell you the right Tube line to take and even give you the correct bus number.

What's more, there are details on the latest track closures, timetables and road works, so you can reconcile yourself to major delays before you set out. There are also save and share options, so you can keep tabs of previous trips and tell pals the best way to get about town.

The service is live now. If you live in London, take a peep and let us know what you think on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
