Patch 1.9 available on Steam today; developer hopes for console release before April
Skyrim developer Bethesda has released its patch 1.9 on Steam earlier today, and has confirmed that it hopes the changes will be making their way to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions soon.
According to Bethesda, the company hopes the patch, which removes level caps and fixes a long list of bugs, will arrive on consoles before the end of March.
Bethesda announced the release of patch 1.9 via its blog, and also posted a long list of patch notes.
New features include a Ledgenday difficulty setting, as well as allowing players to effectively remove the level cap by upgrading skills to legendary. This resets skills to level 15, though it is though the abilities remain unaffected, and it simply means players can continue to improve their skills.
Bug fixes can be seen on the blog post.
