T3.com's best Boxing Day deals

We've rounded up some of the best deals on tech to give you a head start on the post-Christmas sales

In case you haven’t had your fill of shopping this Christmas, there are some excellent deals to be had before the sun sets on 2012 and we emerge, blinking, into the light of 2013.

In order to fuel your post-Christmas shopping expedition, T3 has contacted all our top secret sources to get a head start on the best tech deals for Boxing Day.

HMV deals

HMV has dropped the price of the Sony MDR-XB400 extra bass headphones from £59.99 down to £29.99. That choice saving of thirty English pounds nets you these over ear headphones with a good looking folding design and a 30mm neodymium driver for some pretty punchy audio.

Sticking with the headphones theme, HMV has also knocked half the price off the House of Marley Soul Rebel over-ear ‘phones. At a mere £25 these are a bit more colourful than their Sony counterparts and the 40mm moving coiled drivers mean reggae never sounded so good.

John Lewis deals

Televisions are the order of the day over at John Lewis as the retailer has dropped the price on several sets for the post-Christmas sales. The Panasonic 42” 42GT50 and 50” 50GT50 have both had £200 knocked off bringing them down to £799 and £999 respectively.

If those two options are, frankly, a little tame for you then JL is also dropping the price on the 60-inch Sharp LC60LE636E LED Smart TV. This 1080p, LED-backlit screen has been dropped from £1,199 to a much friendlier £899 from today.

Argos deals

Argos has splashed discounts across all sorts of different tech. You can pick up an LG BP325 3D Blu-ray/DVD player at half its original price for £59.99, or go for a 256GB Xbox 360 console that’s been brought down from £200 to £169.99.

Elsewhere, the high street retailer has dropped the price of the Nikon D3000 DSLR camera by 17 per cent to £125, the 15.6-inch Toshiba C855 laptop by 18 per cent to £329.99 and the Beats by Dr. Dre Solo HD Headphones by 26 per cent to £125.

GAME deals

It's been a rocky year for GAME, but the video game retailer is offering a few discounts of note for Boxing Day. First up is Forza Horizon, which is down to £25 from £39 and a similar treatment has been extended to FIFA 13, which is down from £45 to £35. Other top titles in line for the discount treatment are Assassin's Creed III down to £35 and Halo 4 which has been dropped to £25.

You can also pick up some hardware in the form of a 12GB PS3 console bundled with The Amazin Spiderman HD movie for £125, saving you £71 on the original price. However, GAME's generosity lasts only until December 28th, so if you want to take advantage of these deals, you'll need to be quick.

Smartphone deals

Don't forget, you can also check out our comprehensive iPhone 5 deals comparison page and Samsung Galaxy S3 deals comparison page for the best offers on those two handsets. Then, there's the small matter of our very own T3 iPad mini competition...
