BBC iPlayer now supports iPad 3’s Retina Display

BBC's iPlayer now supports the new iPad, allowing users to watch their favourite flicks and shows in pin-sharp mode

 

The BBC has updated its BBC iPlayer app for iOS to include support for the new iPad’s Retina Display, as well as a series of general bug fixes. In addition, features such as video playback has been enhanced.

The update means popular Beeb shows such as Don’t Tell The Bride and Eastenders will look more vibrant and sharp on the tablet’s 2048x1546 resolution touchscreen.

The BBC iPlayer app is available to download for free from the App Store.
