Ahead of the upcoming Battlefield 3: Armored Kill DLC release date, developer EA has launched the first gameplay trailer of the gaming add-on
Despite the company having recently shed light on its upcoming Battlefield 4 Beta release, developer EA is continuing to support its most recently released first-person shooter with a Battlefield 3: Armored Kill trailer outed ahead of the DLC’s official launch.
Offering the first look and the upcoming Battlefield 3 DLC, the new Armored Kill gameplay trailer has provided gamers with a tantalising insight into the second of four Battlefield 3 add-ons that will land later this year, highlighting the heavily vehicle based nature of the release.
Although EA has failed to provide a Battlefield 3: Armored Kill release date, it is expected that the post-launch content will feature a period of exclusivity for PS3 touting Premium members before being rolled out to Xbox loving subscribers and finally a wider audience.
Following on from the recently launched Close Quarters DLC, EA has confirmed that the Battlefield 3’: Armored Kill release will see gamers benefit from the introduction of four new maps including the Alborz Mountain setting and the Bandar Desert map, the largest single map in the Battlefield franchise’s history.
Further bolstering the near year old release, Armored Kill adopters will also see their Battlefield 3 experience add five new assignments, a tank superiority mode, an ATV and five new vehicles.
