Bargain UMPC sighted

Exclusive video: T3 gets touchy feely with Medion's bargain priced UMPC.

How do you control a PC in the palm of your hand? With as many methods at your disposal as possible, at least that's what Medion think.

Their UMPC, priced at a very impressive £800, squeezes in a touch screen, direction buttons, a touchpad and stylus, as well as a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard with dedicated shortcut keys for wireless functions and a webcam.

Despite its reasonable price tag, Medion's UMPC feels anything but cheap. Sure, it's not quite as solid as Sony's offering, but then it's a clear £1,200 cheaper.

There's a 6.5-inch touchscreen, a 1Ghz processor, a 30-gig hard drive and 468-meg of memory inside its tiny shell.

Take a close up look for yourself below. It's what UMPCs promised to be when the Origami project was first unveiled.
