B&O never lets us down when it comes to forward thinking. While other tech-stables spend their time developing touch-screens, the lads at B&O go for touch-less.

Designed primarily for kitchen use, the TouchLess can control the cooker, washing machine and boil a kettle from the comfort of your armchair. So you'll never lose your favourite seat making the half-time teas again.

It's the brainchild of innovation wizard Joris Van Gelder and despite still being in the prototype stages, the images are enough to get us salivating.

The remote will also work on your hi-fi. Picture the scene: you wave a cultured paw in the direction of your stereo and on comes a pre-planned set of crooning classics, ideal for seduction. Not only will you impress your seductee, you can also start your washing. Now that's romance.
