Asus has unveiled new information ahead of its latest tablet arrival with the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity UK release date confirmed for next month.
The device, which has a slender design and metallic finish, claims to “set a new benchmark for mobile entertainment” while improving productivity for those on the go.
Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Specs
The entertainment-rich Infinity, featuring Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, is to come packing a zippy quad-core processor. Asus’ own SonicMaster for optimum music performance is also set to feature on the 8.5mm thin devices that weighs just 598g.
Built for both work and play, the Infinity can be transformed into a notebook – with a full keyboard, touchpad and USB/SD card ports – via its detachable dock. It also boasts an impressive 14 hour battery life. Additionally, there is the option of 32GB or 64GB storage capacities.
The immersive 10-inch LED display has a 16:10 aspect ratio, 1920 x 1200 native resolution and 178-degree viewing angle. This is complimented by a rear-mounted 8-megapixel camera as well as 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities at 30fps. A second 2-megapixel camera also features on the device’s fore allowing for video conferencing.
Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Pricing and availability
Set to make it to market long after its first official unveiling, Asus has confirmed a Transformer Pad Infinity UK release date will be held on August 31st. An Asus Transformer Pad Infinity price has been set at £599.99.
