Asus has just given the official nod to the Eee PC 1015PEM. But before you complain about the netbook maker unleashing yet another of its dinky machines, it’s worth noting that this one packs some serious grunt.

See, it’s Asus’ first 10-inch netbook to cram in Intel’s 1.5Ghz dual core Atom N550, meaning this little number will positively zoom when you fire it up.

As well as that new chip, you’ll also find a capacious 350GB hard drive, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and 1GB of RAM. There’s also Windows 7 Starter on board too, making this the perfect back to uni laptop.
