Users of the original Transformer tablet could be in for a treat as it would appear as though Ice Cream Sandwich is rolling out across the board

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer has started to get the update to Ice Cream Sandwich or at least that's what some European and UK users are reporting.
While it has taken a little longer than the Asus Transformer Prime Eurodroid is reporting that UK users have started to get the update on their tablets and are in the process of downloading it.
This comes just months after inside sources predicted that the update would in fact arrive in February with Asus on target to update their original Transformer tablet.
Of course all eyes will soon be turned on MWC 2012 where Asus is planning to unveil its latest creation in the form of the Asus Padfone, a hybrid device that combines both a tablet and a smartphone.
