New online listing for unique new tablet spotted. But will it be able to give other Honeycomb tablets a run for their money, let alone the iPad?
Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 out 7 November?
Asus’s new Eee Pad Transformer 2 could be out as soon as 7 November. That’s according to the chaps at BGR, who have snagged the info from an online shop listing.
The new slate, building on the original Transformer’s kooky design, looks set to cost £537.85. The 32GB device, with 1GB of RAM and a 10-inch screen has been listed on the LambdaTek Component Shop’s website.
It’s major draw looks set to be its quad-core Tegra 3 processor, putting it well ahead of key Android rivals in the speed stakes. But can Asus really look to challenge the Samsung Galaxy tab range? It’ll be a tough ask.
