Survey website CoolBrands have completed their 2010/11 survey of the UK’s coolest brands and have listed Aston Martin as the coolest brand going- a place formerly held by the Apple iPhone.

The top spot choice is a swap from last year when the iPhone came first, supplanting the car manufacturer for the crown. It’s not all bad news for Apple, though- they still hold the number 3 slot with the iPod.

Other tech mentions in the list include BlackBerry at number 4, luxury hi fi boffins Bang & Oulfsen at 5, the Nintendo Wii at number 7, Google at number 8 and the BBC iPlayer just short of the top ten at number 11. Youtube made the list too, but at a surprisinfgly low spot at number 15.
