Ahead of the October 31st Assassin's Creed 3 release date, Ubisoft has revealed the three special edition releases that will accompany the game

Ahead of the game’s October release date, publisher Ubisoft has revealed it is to launch three special edition box sets of its upcoming flagship gaming release Assassin’s Creed 3.

Offering gamers a flurry of additional options when snapping up the much fancied addition to the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft has confirmed that as well as launching the standard title, it will also make available an Assassin’s Creed 3 ‘Special Edition’, ‘Join or Die Edition’ and a ‘Freedom Edition’.

Kicking things of with the standard Special Edition, those plumping for the more exclusive offering will be rewarded with a specially packaged retail copy of the game as well as an exclusive single player mission dubbed ‘A Dangerous Secret.’

Building on this, the newly unveiled Assassin’s Creed 3 Join or Die Edition will see gamers add a new multiplayer package and an addition single player mission to the retail release with the medallion of the Assassins and George Washington’s notebook with secrets and tips also joining the mix.

Combining all of these additional offering with a flurry more, the Freedom Edition adds a 24cm high figuring of the title’s protagonist Connor as well as an additional single player mission and a steelbook case art drawn by award winning comic artist Alex Ross.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Release Date

Set to land as Ubisoft’s flagship release for 2012 as an attempted Christmas chart topper, an Assassin’s Creed 3 UK release date has been set for October 31st with the title to land for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC gamers.
