Ubisoft has seen its Assassin's Creed 3 DLC release plans leaked ahead of launch with an expansive offering reportedly in the works
Ahead of the October 31st Assassin’s Creed 3 UK release date, latest reports have suggested a dedicated development team are to create a raft of Assassin’s Creed 3 DLC content that will be made available to consumers via a subscription based season pass.
Although far from confirmed, a letter sent to gaming outlet Kotaku from “the Assassin’s Creed team” has outlined an extensive post-release plan with a flurry of downloadable content launches to follow the full title’s autumn arrival.
"What's next? We are currently in the process of creating a complementary development team that will begin working on post-launch episodic content to continue the Game of the Year experience that Assassin's Creed 3 will undoubtedly deliver," the emerging letter has suggested.
It added: “We know you're familiar with the 'Season Pass' concept and, beginning shortly, we'll start to take pre-orders of our very own."
Addressed to US retailer GameStop, the letter, which is of questionable authority, has offered a tantalising insight into the upcoming gaming release with Ubisoft seemingly set to take its much loved Assassin’s Creed franchise to the next level with a selection of Call of Duty-esque frequent content expansions offerings.
