Commander Shepard’s space epic was always planned as a trilogy and whilst it looks as if that (space) ship has sailed that doesn’t rule out another game in the same universe.

General Manager of BioWare Edmonton and Montreal, Aaryn Flynn has blogged about the future of the company after the departure of founders, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk. In his blog post he talks about the future of the company, namely the future of Mass Effect.
Amongst detailing additional single and multiplayer content for Mass Effect 3 coming in the next few months, he mentions that the team are not done yet. He wrote:
“The Mass Effect universe is vast, and Casey [Hudson, exec producer] and our teams have plans for another full game. Where to go next with such a project has been a question a lot of us have been asking, and we’d all love to hear your ideas.”
Details are pretty much non-existent, but rest-assured Bioware has something in the pipeline for all you fans of the Alliance.

We're working to fix the problem right now and will have it working as soon as possible
