Apple's 12 Days of Christmas app returns with free festive gifts
Latest Apple news...
Apple’s much loved 12 Days of Christmas app has made a reappearance on the iTunes app store promising to emulate last year’s offering and bring a bevy of free content to iOS users around the festive period.
Set to offer a ‘new free gift’ every day between boxing day on December 26th and January 6th, the Apple iTunes 12 Days of Christmas app is available to download free of charge for iPhone and iPad users now with the countdown to the first giveaway having already kicked off.
“You and your friends can download a fantastic selection of songs, music videos, apps and books for free,” Apple’s description of the yuletide giving app says. “Each download will only be available for 24 hours.”
Last year’s collection of free gifts included downloads of the Father Ted Christmas special and a Michael Buble EP as well a host of apps, tracks and other iPhone and iPad friendly digital content.
Those iTunes users who do not tout an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad need not fret about missing out on a host of free content, Apple has confirmed that PC and Mac based users can “come back 26 December to download gifts from your computer.”
