Apple shows its kind, loving side doesn't just stretch to free bumpers.
Apple will fix faulty MacBook cases for free
Apple is offering free fixes after it revealed a fault in certain MacBooks between Oct 2009 and April 2011 in which the rubber bottoms could, on occasion, liberate themselves from the case.
Apple is offering customers up to three free fixes for their MacBooks and will even give you a range of options on how you'd like your beloved laptop fixed.
If you can make it into the store then Apple will fix it there and then through the Genius Bar or alternatively you can go to an authorised dealer and they'll similarly oblige.
If however you're feeling a tad more adventurous or just can't make it into a store you can call them up and they'll send you everything you need to do it yourself including the parts and tools.
