Thunderbolt, speedier processor and thinner design touted.
This week is shaping up to be a big one down in Cupertino, with Apple prepping the release of Mac OS X Lion and a slew of rejigged MacBook Airs. And now it seems Jobs and co could also unleash a new Mac Pro range as well.
The news comes from 9to5mac, which has spoken to a source who’s got hold of four different model numbers for the updated top-end machines. These point to three new high-end computers and one server option being made available.
So what’s inside? Well, word is that there will be one 16 core model, with every version packing in Thunderbolt I/O and a tweaked design that’ll make the hulking machine more slimline.
