July is the date when OS X Lion will hit a Mac near you.

Apple's most iOS influenced operating system yet will be heading to UK shores in just one month

Apple has unveiled the release date of OS Lion at WWDC.

Steve Jobs told crowds that the new operating system will be available for download in July, although he didn’t give a precise date.

Designed for desktops and laptops, the new OS will only be available through the Apple app store, priced $29.99

The file size, T3 learned is just 4GB, or roughly the equivalent of downloading a HD movie.

While it sounds like an upgrade, Apple has said there are more than 250 new features in Lion.
