Apple launches all-new talking iPod shuffle
Discuss your (i)Tunes with Apple's new baby
Still no screen, but Apple's all-new iPod shuffle does have one new trick up its sleeve - it talks.
No, it doesn't exchange pleasantries about the weather or give you new music recommendations, but the new shuffle does use a new VoiceOver feature which can read out your artist, title and playlist names (yes you can access those now), keeping you updated on what's coming up on that miniscule media player.
And it is small. Significantly smaller than an AA battery says Apple, but it does now pack a healthy 4GB of storage, which is enough for 1,000 of your favourite tracks. Minimalist aluminium design too, with all the controls confined to the earphone cord.
Choose from silver or black, with the new 4GB iPod shuffle retailing for £59. And you can get one right now.

Too true - although there are other headphones available for iPhone that include controls, so I guess some will follow for the Shuffle.
