Next week's Apple iPhone 4S release date has been previewed as Apple makes the recently unveiled iOS 5 handset available for pre-order in the UK with a healthy iPhone 4S price tag
Ahead of next week’s iPhone 4S UK release date Apple has opened up pre-orders for the iOS 5 powered handset with the iPhone 4 replacement available to early adopters in both of the announced black and white colour schemes.
Apple iPhone 4S Specs
Not the iPhone 5 overhaul that many had expected the Apple iPhone 4S does however add a host of new features to the much loved and hugely successful iPhone 4 shell. Packing the same A5 dual-core processor found within the iPad 2 the iPhone 4S will be the first handset to land packing the WWDC unveiled iOS 5 mobile operating system.
Retaining its FaceTime enabling front-facing camera the iPhone 4S adds an 8-megapixel rear-mounted snapper with 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities making the cut.
Available in three storage capacities Apple iPhone 4S prices are set to kick off at £499 for the 16GB model. The higher spec 32GB and the 64GB new addition to the range are to be priced at £100 increments lining up for SIM free pre-order priced £599 and £699 respectively.
Unveiled alongside the iPhone 4S a new, lower storage 8GB Apple iPhone 4 has also been made available for order priced £429 prior to next week’s launch.
Ending the repeated rumours of when the next Apple handset would land the Cupertino company revealed at its October 4th ‘Let’s talk iPhone’ event that the eagerly awaited iPhone 4S UK release date will be held on Friday October 14th.
