The Apple iPad 3 UK release date is expected to be in Spring 2012, according to rumours. But there's no sign of a price for the suspected tablet just yet
Although the Apple Pad 3 rumours continue to rumble on, today's gossip should not come as a massive shock for a number of reasons.
Firstly, with the tablet market having hotted up over the past year or so, and a number of excellent Android tablets hitting shelves, it is widely thought that Apple needed to release the iPad 3 sooner rather than later to stay ahead of the rapidly improving pack.
Don't forget as well that both the iPad and Apple iPad 2 were release in the Spring of 2010 and 2011 respectively.
To add fuel to the fire, the reports have claimed that Apple are planning to scale back production of the iPad 2 after Christmas, presumably with an eye towards replacing it with the suspected iPad 3.
Either way, it's another good reason to consider holding off on picking up an iPad 2 this Christmas.
According to DigiTimes, Apple plans to pump an enormous 10 million iPad 3 devices on sale, come release day.
There are no new rumours as to what new features the iPad 3 will bring to the table, but what would you like to see Apple to with it's flagship tablet? Let us know what you think via the comments box below, or on the T3 Facebook and Twitter pages!
