Web guru Kevin Rose reckons a February 1st announcement for Apple's iPad 2.
CES has brought us a fairly convincing mock-up of Jobs & Co's iPad follow-up, but Apple are, as always, keeping schtum about when we can expect it to arrive.
Step up Digg founder, Apple prophet and T3's 80th-most-influential-person-in-tech Kevin Rose, who posted the on his blog at kevinrose.com: "I have it on good authority that Apple will be announcing the iPad 2 in the next "3-4 weeks", possibly Tuesday February 1st."
Rose, well-known for his previous Apple predictions, also wrote that the iPad 2 will feature front and rear-facing cameras and a higher resolution display (although apparently not a retina display as found on the iPhone 4).
Hardly groundbreaking revelations, but logical steps for Apple's next tablet. Whether we'll get anything else out of the iPad 2 may, then, be revealed February 2nd.
