Angry Bird's Bad Piggy Bank launched for Android
Rovio comes up with the Bad Piggy Bank to chase away ads.
The Bad Piggy Bank is coming to the Android version of Angry Birds, which allows users to choose to pay to rid themselves of the advertisements on the popular gaming app.
While the Android version of Angry Birds is free, users can choose to pay with the new Bad Piggy Bank to stop seeing those as well. This feature will be available for Android phones in 2011.
Finland will be the first to receive this service; we'll keep you updated on when UK phones will see it.
In addition, Angry Birds is confirmed to be landing on Macs, PCs and consoles eventually. Along with the Angry Birds plush toys, Angry Birds hoodies will soon be made available to add to their merchandising.
Rovio, which is celebrating Angry Bird's Day today, is behind the popular game that has recently topped 7 million downloads on Android, and has recently released Angry Birds Seasons for iPhone and iPad, as well as the Android phones, with the Angry Birds Christmas edition out too.
