Angry Birds announced for BlackBerry PlayBook

Angry Birds set to arrive on the BlackBerry PlayBook this summer

T3 reports live from BlackBerry World in Orlando, Florida.

The BlackBerry PlayBook just added a little more 'Play' to its portfolio after CEO Mike Lazaridis announced that Angry Birds will be coming to the tablet.

Speaking during his BlackBerry World 2011 Keynote in Orlando, Florida, Lazardis confirmed the title will launch on the platform sometime this summer.

BlackBerry also went into more detail about its new Facebook app for the BlackBerry Playbook, which is the first tablet-specific Facebook mobile app, beating both Android and iPhone to the punch.

The Flash-enabled device means that the app will be able to play videos hosted on Facebook, complete with improved photo viewing and Chat integration

The Facebook for BlackBerry PlayBook app is available to download now.
