Angry Birds Android cheat lets you unlock harder levels

If you don't want to spoil your Angry Birds fun, look away now...

A cheat which allows you to skip straight to the hardest levels on the Android version of Angry Birds has been outed.

The Android version of the game which has been downloaded more than 2 million times since it launched in full last week, breaking the GetJar website in the process, features a bug which allows you to avoid racking up the three stars needed to progress through the levels.

Should you wish to cheat your way through the 150 levels You can check out the video below to find out how it can be done, or follow these instructions:

1/ Load up the game

2/ Go to the world select display

3/ Place a locked world on center

4/ Press the back button on your phone to exit the game

5/ Load the game up again

6/ When loaded, keep on tapping the Play button when it appears. Soon you should have access.

In other Angry Birds-related news, EA has announced that they will buy Chillingo the company that publishes the iPhone and Android game hit, as it seeks to increase its mobile gaming presence. This will however, not include the intellectual property for Angry Birds which will remain with Finnish developers Rovio.
