Android Gingerbread spied on Nexus S

Latest snaps show Gingerbread in all its glory

Tweaked front screen and new look for Google's OS.

The Google Nexus S hasn’t been shy about posing for some blurry snaps. And now a new round of pics has landed over at XDA Developers. However, this time they show Android 2.3 Gingerbread working away on the device.

The clearest and best shot, which you can see here, shows off a tweaked UI, with a new colour scheme, changed status bar and a new-look numeric keypad. Other images also confirm that Gingerbread is definitely under the hood.

XDA Developers has also confirmed that the Nexus S is running a dual core 1GHz processor, along with 720p video skills and a huge 4-inch panel. It also rocks that curved frame which Android fanatics have been raving about.
