Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Handsets and Tablets

Whilst Asus has seemingly confirmed its plans to jump aboard the good ship Jelly Bean, it has yet to be confirmed exactly which manufacturers will launch what Android 4.1 devices when the operating system launches later in the year.

Having been responsible for the past two Android launching Nexus handsets, it has been widely rumoured that Samsung will once again be handed responsibility for the next-gen OS. On the tablet front a number of rumours have hinted at Google’s plans to launch its first own branded tablet with the Jelly Bean arrival a potential launch platform for its first oversized hardware offering.
