An official video showing off Android 2.3 has appeared on Google Hong Kong as we await the official launch of Google's latest OS update.
The footage which you can see below, showed what appears to be a Nexus One device demonstrating Voice Search in Cantonese.
Changes with the user interface and status bar are notable in the video, but crucially it's a sign that Gingerbread is in development.
Tipped to launch last month, the rumoured Nexus S was spotted running Android 2.3 but Google have yet to confirm when the OS will land.
Eric Schmidt revealed at the Web 2.0 Summit in November that it would be coming out "in the next few weeks," so we hold out hope we can tuck into Gingerbread for Christmas.
