No word on a release date or specs, but Amazon tablet is looking more nailed on than ever.
The much-mooted Amazon tablet has moved a step closer to reality, after the online retail giant’s CEO dropped the biggest hint yet about a full-on iPad rival. When asked about such a device, Jeff Bezos told Consumer Reports that punters should, “…stay tuned,” for more news.

The Amazon tablet has become the hottest rumour in the tech world in recent months. Word is the device will run Android Honeycomb, as the Kindle-maker looks beyond its ace, but basic eReader.
