With the Kindle Fire dropped to an incredible £99 – a saving of £30 - Amazon has announced sales three times higher than any other day in the entire 14-year history of the website.

The all-new device gives users access to over 22 million movies, TV shows, songs, apps, games, books and magazines all on the 7-inch touch screen.

With built-in Wi-Fi for fast web browsing and e-mailing it takes the fight to tablets such as Apple’s iPad 2 and for this affordable-for-all price, the Fire has been selling like proverbial hotcakes.
