Having officially released the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC through the Call of Duty Elite platform yesterday developer Activision has unveiled its plans for future MW3 additional content releases.
Whilst Activision had previously revealed that it would launch 20 post release ‘content drops’ in the coming nine months it had yet to confirm when these packs of additional content would land for the epic first person shooter and Battlefield 3 rival.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC Release Dates
Following the two new multiplayer maps that were made available for Xbox 360 gamers yesterday Activision has revealed that it will make a further new map available in February with March set to see two content drops in the form of a new map and two new Spec Ops missions.
The outed schedule will then see two new maps introduced in April with a further map and Spec Ops mission in May to be followed by a bumper June offering that includes a new map, a new Spec Ops mission and a new game mode.
The final three months of the extensive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC offering will see two new maps introduced in July with a new map, new Spec Ops mission and a further game mode to land in August. September will see a final map and Spec Ops mission introduced.
