Acer ICONIA Tab A510 Olympic Edition ICS tablet on sale

Boasting Ice Cream Sandwich and Tegra 3 quad-core

Acer have launched their Ice Cream Sandwich-touting Android Tablet the A510 Olympic Edition boasting quad-core and Eurosport membership for the Olympics

The Acer ICONIA Tab A510 Olympic Edition has gone on sale today in the UK with the Android tablet boasting Ice Cream Sandwich alongside a quad-core processor and a limited Eurosport membership letting you watch all the action from the London 2012 Olympics.

Acer ICONIA Tab A510 Olympic Edition Specs:

With a 10.1-inch IPS display the A510 has clearly been designed to rival the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the New iPad and at only 10.95mm it's only slightly thicker than its counterparts.

The thickness comes for a reason though as the A510 has a colossal battery under the hood which will give a reported 15hours of life letting you surf, watch movies and game for that bit longer.

Under the hood is a NVIDIA Tegra 3 1.3Ghz quad-core processor, that, coupled with the 1GB RAM means that this thing is capable of competing with the likes of the Asus Transformer Prime.

Acer ICONIA Tab A510 Olympic Edition Features:

Unique to the Olympic Edition is not only the logo embossed on the back of the tablet but you'll also get a limited trial membership to the Eurosport app which will let you watch all the action during the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Acer ICONIA Tab A510 Olympic Edition Price:

Clearly priced to undercut and rival the other leading tablets the A510 is now available from the Carphone Warehouse for the not unreasonable price of £349.
