3 Mobile's INQ Mini 3G to cost just £60

3 Mobile's second social networking phone gets the official launch soon

3 Mobile has just confirmed that the INQ Mini 3G mobile, which we first saw back in August, will go on sale in October for just £60.

Known as "the Twitter phone", the INQ Mini 3G has a Twitter app running in the background constantly, ensuring any new tweets or received messages will arrive straight on your homescreen. In addition to full Twitter access, the INQ Mini 3G will offer IMAP email services, HSDPA connectivity, up to 4GB of storage, a 2.0-megapixel camera and 2.2-inch QVGA TFT display. It's also easily customisable with seven coloured backs.

Available on a pay as you go scheme for £59.99 upfront, or for free on 3 Mobile's £15 Internet Texter plan, it will go on sale early October. If you opt for the contract, you'll be given free internet, free calls to other 3 customers, free voicemail and 75 minutes free to call other networks.

No word yet on the INQ Chat 3G, with 3 Mobile claiming it will arrive later this year.
