Ricoh GRD II

A classic looking camera with state of the art tech.

No skinny body here. The Ricoh GRD II also spurns touchscreens and poo-poos optical zooms. Instead, you get a functional-looking, rubber-gripped camera with a terrific, 28mm lens and pro features like RAW image capture and a sort of virtual spirit level thing to ensure straight horizons.

The real revelation comes when snappin' time arrives: photos are fabulous, even in low light. It may not be pretty, but the gizmo-laden GRD II is a perfect second camera for an aspiring pro photographer and our retro maestro of choice.
