You may have heard noise-cancelling headphones before, but nothing like this. Wolfson Microelectronics’ in-ear models have a microphone in each bud to detect ambient noise before obliterating it.
If you know what you’ll be doing, you can choose from three filters to block out your surroundings: Aeroplane mode is perfect for flights; General is for ambling about in the street; while Office shuts up your co-workers.
The battery will last 14 hours, but never fear, they’ll work as a regular pair of headphones once you’re out of juice. It just means you’ll just have to put up with your colleagues.
