If you thought electric cars were for those more interested in saving the planet than putting pedal to the metal, check out the Model X.
It’s a cross between a minivan and an SUV, but all you really need to know is it has ‘falcon wing’ doors like the DeLorean. Oh yes. It’s a luxury model, with more space thanks to the flat battery pack that goes from front to rear wheels under the car. That also gives it a low centre of gravity, improving handling. Its all-wheel drive system should also mean it can go anywhere, o’er hill and dale, when it launches next year.
