This Sony PS Vita may have been on sale in Japan since 2011’s end but it’s only just getting started, with key releases like EA’s FIFA revealing the true worth of the rear touchpad and a raft of premium titles chasing the winds of commerce.
While it has motion sensors aplenty, pocket money games and episodes of Glee available to download from Sony Entertainment Network, this is a truly hardcore console, from its excellent analogue sticks to its eyeball-pranging OLED screen. It’s just far too good a portable to waste its time on “fun”; the Vita is one for gaming’s true believers, the staunch.
