The Flip may be dead, with phones handling video duties with aplomb, but Sony continues to expand its Bloggie range of camcorders.
The 3-inch screen on this isn’t as big as most smart phones nowadays, though the 12.8-megapixel stills cam puts most handsets to shame.
And with these devices it’s all about the lenses; this has an f2.8 to f5.3 Sony lens, that coupled with the Exmor CMOS sensor letting in more light should make for great footage and stills.
You can also livestream easily by logging onto Qik.com, provided you’re near a Wi-Fi hotspot, that is.
