Imagine if the iPod Touch ran Android. Well that’s pretty much the premise behind the Philips GoGear Connect 3. Thanks to Android you can connect to Market and download thousands of apps, though you’ll need to connect via Wi-Fi to do so. It’s lightweight, with the standard Back, Home and Menu buttons as you’d find on most Android phones.

The bundled headphones far surpass the cans that come with an iPod, and it’ll play a great range of audio formats, including lossless, and FLAC, the Tommy Saxondale of the audio file world. It’s the best iPod Touch rival out there.
