At last, a legitimate challenger to the iPad. If only because this Toughpad is hard enough to smash the iPad’s namby-pamby face in.
The 10.1-incher runs Android, though it’s Honeycomb rather than Ice Cream Sandwich, presumably because it sounds harder.
Inside is a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 16GB solid state drive, and 1GB of RAM.
On the rear is a 5-megapixel camera, and on the front a 2-megapixel effort. And because it’s a hard-wearing rugged device don’t expect it to be cheap.
A 7-inch version is also expected later in the year, but don’t call it short or it’ll ‘ave you...
