You may have heard about 3D printing for a while now, but the MakerBot Replicator 3D Printer is the first major model for us consumers, and it’s a doozy. The build area can fit a loaf of bread, meaning you can print off your 3D models bigger and better than before.
Go for the dual extrusion model if you want to print things in more than one colour, or to experiment with different materials.
And then you can print off pretty much anything you can think up, and design. The only limits is your imagination. (And your design skills.)
