It’s back into making actual, tangible kit and doing a more exciting job of it than it did before its little break. Ultrabooks are 2012’s hot product and the HP Envy Spectre 14 is the fieriest of the lot.
At CES 2012 it was the most exciting example of how NFC could be embraced by the mainstream; paying for online goods by holding your credit card over the trackpad. No laborious punching in of details, no racking the grey matter for forgotton passwords, just a simple swipe to consumer heaven and a glimpse of the future.
