Described as an ‘iPod for games,’ this is essentially what the handheld Megadrive should’ve been – a portable games system that’ll play pretty much anything you download to it.
Expect to see plenty of arcade classics up for download from maker Blaze’s very own App Store-style download service.
As long as Altered Beast and Streets of Rage are there, we’ll be happy. And it’s all legal and above board, unlike ROMs, meaning the publishers, developers, and programmers will see some change for their hard work. Could it do for games what apps did for phones? We’ll see…
