It’s go big or go home for BlackBerry with BB10.
Not a lot is known about the crucial OS other than its desire to combine the best aspects of the PlayBook and BlackBerry software while taking serveral giant leaps forward.
Android app access is on the agenda, while voice search, push notifications, live widgets and soft-key navigation could also appear. It remains to be seen whether this Hail Mary will score a touchdown or whether the audacious slam dunk will bounce off the RIM and condemn the company to smartphone history.
By the end of the year, all will be clear.
